The presentation of modernization of lighting system in Yerevan state puppet theatre was held on January 22, 2016. In the scope of Energy efficiency project, financed and implemented by R2E2, whole lighting system of the theatre was re-equipped by the modern LED lights and fixtures.
The participants were the deputy Minister of RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan, deputy Minister of RA Ministry of Culture Arthur Poghosyan, R2E2 stuff and journalists. The project aimed to re-equip the lighting system, thus reducing electricity consumption and simultaneously providing high level of comfort.
Deputy Minister of RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan highly appreciated the importance of the Energy efficiency project, including all energy efficiency measures implemented in number of public buildings in the scope of EEP, aiming to increase the level of energy efficiency throughout the country.
Deputy Minister of RA Ministry of Culture Arthur Poghosyan mentioned that in the scope of EEP energy efficiency measures were implemented also in other two cultural institutions like National Gallery of RA and State musical chamber theatre, at the same time expressing his hope that the project will be ongoing and will allow to involve more cultural institutions.
Director of State puppet theater of Yerevan, Ruben Babayan enthusiastically introduced the implemented works carried out by “Dustr Margarita” LLC, and expressed his gratitude to the company representatives and to R2E2 director Tamara Babayan for fulfilling such project. He also mentioned the necessity of modernization of theatre’s lighting system, as it makes the whole theatre more beautiful and gives broad opportunities for creating better and brighter stage performances.
